Domestic YAK of Northern Pakistan.

 

this animal is known as YAK locally ZOGH .
these are pet, people keep them for financial purposes,milk and meat.
yaks live at high altitude very near to the glaciers at very low temperature because it is not possible for yaks to stay longer at any place with less water and high temperature, 
this is the reason why this animal stays at the peaks of local mountainous areas for more than 8 months of the year and returns home during winter for better food and salt.
people take care of their yaks in the mountains, they visit one by one every day , they carry salt stones for the yaks to feed them, they also carry different vaccines for effected yaks or as precautionary.

   He is SARTAJ ALAM a local boy, a student and a farmer. the people of this area are so much hardworking, they study they work and the do many other works as daily routine.
